Dental Clinics started functioning initially with only diagnosis and medications in the oral medicine and dental radiology department. After comprehending the safety measures required during this unprecedented period, all the departments started functioning, providing essential oral health care to patients following all the safety precautions and disinfection protocol as per NABH guidelines supervised by Bio- safety committee of the institution.

The faculty and the post graduate students were briefed and illustrated about the essential safety measures that have to be followed while treating patients. Hand hygiene by washing, use of sanitizers and temperature check are mandatory for all patients before registering. Hand sanitizers are provided in all departments. All staffs were provided with protective gear to treat patients. The Bio-safety committee provided necessary guidance and training for the faculties, non-teaching staffs and PG students.
